Optipus PV is a French deeptech startup originating from two CNRS laboratories in Marseille.
Our mission is simple and ambitious:
Integrate solar energy into everyday objects to extend their autonomy, reduce their environmental impact, and pave the way for a new generation of sustainable electronics.
By combining materials science, industrial design, and energy innovation, we transform any surface into a source of clean, autonomous energy without ever compromising aesthetics or usability.
A start up born from more than 15 years of research
Energyskin™, our flexible organic photovoltaic module, is the result of more than a decade of scientific research conducted within the CNRS.
Ultrathin, flexible and customizable
Efficient under natural and artificial light

We believe that energy should disappear into the object to make it smarter, more autonomous, and more sustainable.
Optipus PV is driven by a multidisciplinary team bringing together researchers, engineers, industrialization experts, R&D engineers, and business professionals.

A French deeptech focus on industrialisation
Since 2025, we have been focusing on the industrialization of our Energyskin™ solution, with the goal of producing thousands of modules in the coming years. Optipus PV positions itself as a key player in thin-film photovoltaics applied to consumer electronics and light mobility.
We already collaborate with several French and European industrial partners to design the first solar-powered products on the market.
We believe that the objects of tomorrow will no longer need to be recharged. Thanks to embedded solar energy, autonomy will no longer be a constraint, but a natural feature of all electronic devices.
Our environmental engagement is fundamental to this vision:
